Sophia Learning Offers Free College-Level Courses to Rising High School Juniors and Seniors
Today, Sophia Learning, an online, on-demand, self-paced learning platform, announced the launch of its summer program, providing 100,000 eligible rising high school juniors and seniors free access to six college-level courses. Students can sign up anytime between June 2 and July 31, 2025, for 60 days of access. This cost-free, no-risk program is intended to help students explore their interests, potentially earn credit via college-level courses that are designed to transfer, and make informed decisions about their future, all on their own schedule. The program furthers Sophia’s aim to expand access to affordable high-quality college-level courses.
Jason’s Deli Partners with Sophia Learning to Provide Access to Online General Education Courses
Sophia Learning, an online, on-demand, self-paced learning platform providing college-level courses is partnering with Jason’s Deli, an award-winning fast casual restaurant, to give its full-time and part-time employees access to Sophia’s low-cost $99/month subscription. The subscription will include access to more than 60 high-quality general education college-level courses.
University of the People Partners with Sophia Learning to Provide Low-Cost Pathways to Degree Attainment
University of the People (UoPeople) today announced a partnership with Sophia Learning, an online, on-demand, self-paced learning platform, to provide UoPeople students with an affordable option to complete online general education courses. UoPeople’s 126,000 students will have immediate access to Sophia’s catalog of courses for $99 per month, and this partnership will help ensure Sophia courses are seamlessly transferred to UoPeople to help students complete an associate or bachelor’s degree.
